Before founding AltOptix, Austin spent about 10 years in enterprise IT infrastructure. He started on the data center floor, racking and cabling servers, storage arrays, and network switches, and worked up to Linux and Storage Engineer. In that role he handled storage, backups, middleware, and automation, and he hosted, built, and maintained the infrastructure behind large business websites.
